Street Dept 1% Sales Tax
The Mayflower Street Department is partly funded by a 1% sales and use tax that was approved by the voters of Mayflower in January 2008.
This sales tax is exclusively used to fund streets and drainage. This includes new facilities and repair and maintenance of existing facilities.
Other functions of the street department are funded by allocations from General Revenues to the Street Department.
