Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions and answers we routinely receive.  If you have any questions not listed below please call or e-mail us and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Do I have a warrant?

You can either check the Arkansas Judiciary Case Search system by visiting https://caseinfo.arcourts.gov/opad or you can contact the Warrants Department at 501-470-1000. Please keep in mind that if you call the Warrants Department, they can only tell you if the Mayflower Police Department has a warrant for you. We cannot confirm warrants for other agencies.

Warrants need to be served in person. Come to the Police Department and bring your bond amount in either cash, check, or money order and your Driver License. If you’re unsure of the bond amount, call 501-470-1000 and speak to someone in the Warrants Department and they will guide you from there.

A bond is the amount set by a Judge to keep you from being a resident in the Faulkner County Detention Center. When you pay the bond, then you will not be detained for that warrant.

Visit https://pay.arcourts.gov/pay/ and you can choose to pay a citation or make a payment on your payment plan. For help with this, please contact the Mayflower District Court at 501-470-0948.

Contact our district court at 501-470-0948 and they will tell you what you need to do.

Call dispatch at 501-470-1000 and let us know that you would like extra patrol for your area. Whether you’re going out of town and would like us to check the area more while you’re gone, or if you have noticed unusual activity in your neighborhood, just call us. We’ll ask you some questions and put the directive out to our officers.

You can also make this request online here.

Yes, it is legal, but the city requires salespeople to purchase a permit to go door to door. If this happens, please call us at 501-470-1000 and give us a description of the salesperson and we will send an officer out to remind them of this ordinance.
