7.20.01 Liability coverage. The city shall carry liability coverage on all its motor vehicles in the minimum amounts prescribed in the Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act.

7.20.02 Settlement of claims. All persons having claims against the city may file them with the Recorder. The Mayor shall present them to the Council. The Council may grant a hearing for the claimant and may authorize a settlement.
