Any person, property owner, or tenant outside of the Mayflower Fire District who receives the services of the Fire Department in fighting a fire on their property may be charged, up to the maximum fee allowed under state statutes, for services provided. Additionally, the Fire Department may charge a person, property owner, or tenant’s insurance company for services provided or damaged equipment if they do not reside within the Fire District up to the allowable amounts provided for in state statutes. The normal expenses for nonsubscribers include $300.00 for a house or grass fire; $300.00 for a business fire; and $300.00 for a vehicle fire.
