As this winter storm continues to impact our area, here’s the latest on road conditions and maintenance:

🛣️ State Highways (Highway 365 & Highway 89)

These highways are maintained by ArDOT, not the City of Mayflower. Many sections of Hwy 365 and Hwy 89 remain covered in ice, and travel is still hazardous. Please use caution if you must be out.

ArDOT’s tentative plan, as of Tuesday afternoon, is to begin work on Highway 365 and 89 this evening or tomorrow as their resources permit.

🏙️ City Streets

City streets are looking much better, thanks to our Street Department crews who have been working tirelessly to blade, plow, and apply salt/sand throughout neighborhoods and routes within the city limits. Their hard work is making a significant difference—thank you for your patience and support!

📍 Mayflower Address vs. City Limits

We’ve received inquiries about road conditions in the county. Please remember that having a Mayflower mailing address or zip code does not always mean you reside within the city limits. Roads outside city limits are maintained by ArDOT or Faulkner County.

📞 Report Dangerous Road Conditions

If you see a hazardous roadway inside the city limits, please let us know:

📱 Street Department: 501-470-1337 EXT 7

Stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel whenever possible. Our teams will continue working through the weather to keep Mayflower moving.
