The City of Mayflower is offering sandbags to assist with flood prevention measures to all citizens of Mayflower. Your Mayflower Street Department is working hard to fill as many as possible for you and efforts are continuing throughout the day. Faulkner County is sending additional truck loads of sand to assist with these efforts as well.
These may be picked up at your convenience at 2 Ashmore Drive (behind Mayflower Waterworks) or at the Street Department staging site on Paradise Road at the I-40 overpass.
These bags are FREE to residents. Contractors and commercial operators seeking to acquire these bags for resale are prohibited from this offer.
